The British schooner yacht 'Cambria' navigating across the mid-ocean during a transatlantic race against the American schooner yacht 'Dauntless' (not depicted). The two yachts started off the Old Head of Kinsale near Queenstown and raced across the Atlantic to Sandy Hook. The 'Cambria' finished first by 1 hour and 43 minutes. The victory of 'Cambria' bolstered the interest surrounding the yacht to be the first challenger of the America's Cup.
