With an engraving depicting a decorated arch in an early Christian cemetary, and a detailed view of the decoration, which shows three Biblical scenes. The rightmost of these is Jonah, being pushed from a canoe by a man sitting therein (the only figure on the boat) into the mouth of the whale, depicted as a crowlike creature whose head emerges from the waves. Italian text printed above and below describes the figure.
