The yawl 'Xantha' of 137 tons, owned by Commodore Lord Alfred Paget, as it appears rounding the Kentish Knock in the Ocean Race of the Royal Thames Yacht Club on 12 June 1865. Handled in a typical Dutton fashion, the port-side view depicts a spirited portrait of the yacht gliding across the choppy waves. A steamboat and other sailing vessels are in the distance.
